What do older adults really need — and how are those needs changing?
From care delivery to consumer tech, success in AgeTech starts with understanding your market. Join us for an insightful afternoon with Dr. Andrew Costa, one of Canada’s foremost experts in aging, health services, and long-term care, as we explore the shifting needs, preferences, and realities of older adults today.
Dr. Costa is an Associate Professor at McMaster University and the Canada Research Chair in Integrated Care for Seniors. He is Research Director at the St. Joseph’s Health System Centre for Integrated Care, and a Fellow of the interRAI consortium, where he co-leads global standards for clinical assessments across care settings. He also co-leads CanSPARK, Canada’s first long-term care research network for experimental trials and AI-driven analytics, and has shaped national and global policy on frailty, chronic disease, and infection prevention through a research portfolio cited in over 140 policy documents worldwide.
Whether you’re an operator planning future services, a startup shaping your next product, or an investor seeking signal in a crowded market, this session will ground your strategy in real data and lived experience.
