About AgeTech Labs.

AgeTech Labs is the translation layer for senior living technology—free tools, practical frameworks, and community built by someone who lives this work every day.

We don't sell consulting. We build infrastructure that helps the entire ecosystem make smarter technology decisions.

Built by an Operator

AgeTech Labs is founded and led by Phil Vlach, who leads technology at Schlegel Villages, one of Ontario's leading senior living operators with 18+ communities across retirement and long-term care.

That operator lens shapes everything we build. Enterprise technology practices — composable architecture, API-first integration, data-driven decision-making — have transformed retail, banking, and e-commerce. But they haven't reached senior living yet. AgeTech Labs translates what works in enterprise into what's practical in aging operations. Every framework gets tested in real communities before it becomes ecosystem infrastructure.

This isn't theory. It's translation — grounded in daily operations, shaped by real constraints, built for what actually works.
